Baby Story
Aug.1st.2002 after several weeks of Melanie being sick. I finally gave up, and let her go to the doctor, after all, I had been sick a week or so before, and she just had what I had. We found out I was a little wrong on the diagnoses. When the doctor said pregnant, I nearly fell out of my seat. I could see maybe a gall bladder attack, but I wasn't ready for that.
After a short cry, worrying about Melanie's health and ability to carry a child, you couldn't have bought the baby for a trillion dollars.
As of today Nov.6th.2002, Melanie is 21weeks along. Below are the ultra sound pictures till we can get a Kodak moment.

We went to the doctor today for another ultra sound . Everything is going according to schedule, as is, Rose will be born close to March 7th. 03. Melanie has really been a trooper thru this, it can't be easy but she is holding to the promises of God, and reading scripture to the baby.
Feb 6th, 2003 - We are on our way to the hospital. It looks like Rose Ann is ready to come into the world. Keep us in your prayers and as soon as she arrives, we will post pictures.

Again nothing goes according to plan, Rose showed up 5 weeks early. We spent 9 days in the hospital, when Rose got her weight back up to 4pounds 8 ounces we got to go home. We had to live with Melanie's parents for 2months 3weeks while waiting to complete the addition to our house, we are now home, till Jesus completes our next place.
About the delivery. Feb.4th. Melanie had cramping so we went to the doctor, they put Mel on the monitor and said she was in labor, they gave her a shot, and after more monitoring said she had stopped. That night the cramping returned the next day we returned for a follow up visit no contractions, but that night more cramping. I told Melanie if this is not labor something is still wrong, so we returned to the doctor again the next day. The nurse said lets do a exam when she announced Melanie was 5 centimeters dilated. The nurse said to go straight to the hospital, Don't run any red lights but don't stop at Wendy's for fries. After making several attempts to stop labor the doctor said let's break the water, and so it really began, I have never been more proud of my wife she started labor at aprox. 9:00pm and never took a pain pill, or any medicine, and never cried a tear. Melanie labored till 5:00am, but the baby wouldn't drop past a certain point, so at 5:59am Rose made her debut via c section. Just to let you know, mother and baby are really doing great, but we would never turn down prayer.
addition:
Some of you know that some friends of our ministry have taken it upon themselves to help us by adding an addition to our home to accommodate our family change. (our house was extremely small no kidding) We are now moved in, but there are a few things left to do. If you feel led to help please call Phil & Rhonda Foley at: 317-889-6636
