Dear Melanie and JB,
Thanks for the wonderful service yesterday. I think it was one of the best ever at our church. I did not want it to end. The poem by the young girl about her father, the choice of songs, and Melanie's testimony just seemed appropriate for Father's Day. I have tried to remember the songs that you sung, but they are only bits and pieces running through my mind. I especially liked "You'll always be a Child in my Eyes", "These are some Heroes I have Known', and "Consider the Lilies". I enjoyed talking to you afterwards. When we got home our guests had already started arriving for our cook-out. We had chicken on the grill and more salads and stuff than we should have followed by homemade ice cream. Our guests consisted of our son and daughter and their families and their in-laws and their families. We had a total of 19 and we enjoyed ourselves so much that no one wanted to leave. Yesterday was a memory that I will treasure forever, and you had a big part in making it my happiest Father's Day. As Steve would say, "May God bless your socks off." I met you last April on my flight from Chicago to San Antonio. I still have the picture that was taken coming out of the airplane. I will send it to you. Last summer I have been in San Antonio again and next Saturday I will visit my fiancé again. I hope you remember me. I will send the picture so then you will do. It was so nice talking to you during our flight. Remember we had a 2-hours delay, didn't get anything to eat so you offered me your carrots. Maybe we will meet again sometime.

I love your website! I'll be sure to tell others to come see it. I can't wait for ya'll to come to Unity! You won't believe what God is doing there. We went through a terrible time in September but God was faithful and delivered us from almost loosing Fred! Can't begin to try to tell you here in writing but I'd be glad to tell you sometime. We have already outgrown the church and need to look into having two services. (WE DIDN'T THINK BIG ENOUGH!) God has blessed us with lots of youth (about 75 each Wednesday night) and awesome volunteer youth leaders. We are in the process of trying to figure out how God wants us to minister to all the people. This is an all new ballgame for many of us who remember Unity struggling with 30-40 people in attendance and now we are averaging about 230!!!!! Praise the Lord! This is Brother Calvin from Brother Dave's and Sister Sue's church (the McColleys). God is really moving at our church. Last night in our Wednesday night service, we were privileged to have one of our members who recently went through a triple bypass surgery. On top of that he came down with pneumonia and had two light strokes. His son had even went so far as to arrange funeral services for him. God truly is amazing!!!! Your website is great and I will be visiting often. Enjoy your music and your testimonies. It's good to know that your lives back up what you sing and preach about.
Please pray for me. I have applied for a job and they haven't made their decision yet. My old job is about to run out (the 15th of this month). I want the Lord's will being done no matter what.
